Mumbai-Ghatkopar News- ‘Honoring Women’s Power’
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, Brahma Kumaris Yog Bhavan, Mumbai Ghatkopar Subzone organized a special Haldi-Kumkum program for women at Brahma Kumaris Peace Park, where 300 women from different backgrounds enthusiastically participated with great joy and enthusiasm.
The program commenced with Brahma Kumari Aarti Ben – Rajyoga teacher, who introduced the audience to the Brahma Kumaris organization and its humanitarian activities. Following this, Brahma Kumari Saraswati Ben explained the spiritual significance of Haldi-Kumkum. She elaborated that the first step in this ritual is applying the Tilak of self-awareness (Atma Smriti). The flower given symbolizes the spreading of our unique qualities and virtues, while the souvenir presented signifies sharing happiness as a gift.
The presence of Senior Rajyoga Teacher Vishnu Ben Ji filled the atmosphere with immense positivity. Through Moving Meditation, she guided all the women towards self-realization, connection with the Supreme Soul, and the awakening of their inner powers while emphasizing the importance of Nari Shakti (a woman’s strength).
The event was graced by the presence of Poonam Tai Parab, head of the Shiv Sena UBT Women’s Wing, as a special guest.
In the concluding segment, all women were offered divine prasad and souvenirs. Many participants expressed a keen interest in learning Rajyoga Meditation and enrolled in an upcoming Rajyoga Meditation Session.
Thus, the International Women’s Day celebration concluded successfully with great enthusiasm and spiritual energy.
