Brahma Kumaris Participate in “Special” Diwali Celebrations at Mumbai, Ghatkopar
Omkar Blind KVEK Society organized a Special Diwali Celebration event for the Blind at Ghatkopar, Mumbai, in which they were presented with Diwali Gifts and Food Ration.
Brahma Kumaris Yog Bhavan, Mumbai Ghatkopar were invited as the “Guest of Honour “on this occasion.
Rajyogini Brahmakumari Shaku Didi Ji – Additional Director of Ghatkopar Subzone of Brahma Kumaris graced the occasion and participated in lamp lighting.
About 4000 Blind Brothers & Sisters from all over Mumbai took part in the Diwali festivities with full zeal.
Post Lamp Lighting, Rajyogini BK Shaku Didi Ji greeted all on the occasion of Diwali and appreciated Omkar Blind KVEK Society for their benevolent public services.
She stated – Spreading happiness in others lives is a true way of celebration!! and encouraged Omkar Blind KVEK Society to continue their humane social activities.
The event marked the presence of MP Manoj Bhai Kotak Ji, MLA from Ghatkopar Parag Bhai Shah Ji and many other Philanthropists who had contributed for the cause.

मुंबई, घाटकोपर में ओमकार अंध के. वी. ई . के सोसाइटी द्वारा विशेष नेत्रहीनों के लिए दीपावली की सौगात और दिवाली से पूर्व उन्हें राशन का वितरण करने के लिए एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया |
इस कार्यक्रम में ‘विशेष अतिथि’ के रूप में ब्रह्माकुमारीज – योग भवन, घाटकोपर सबज़ोन को निमंत्रित किया गया |
राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी शकू दीदी जी (अतिरिक्त निर्देशिका – ब्रह्माकुमारीज घाटकोपर सबज़ोन) कार्यक्रम में विशेष अतिथि रहे और दीप प्रज्वलन में शामिल हुए|
4000 नेत्रहीन भाई-बहन,दिवाली उत्सव से पूर्व इस दिवाली त्यौहार में शामिल होकर बेहद खुश हुए |
दीप प्रज्वलन के पश्चात राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी शकू दीदी जी ने सभी को दीवाली की शुभकामनाएं दी और ओमकार अंध के. वी. ई. के सोसाइटी के कार्य की सराहना की | किसी और के जीवन में ख़ुशी लाना ही
वास्तविक त्यौहार मनाना है, इसलिए ऐसे समाज उपयोगी कार्य आगे भी करते रहने की उन्हें प्रेरणाएं दी |
इस कार्यक्रम में लोकसभा सांसद मनोज भाई कोटक जी, घाटकोपर के विधायक पराग भाई शाह जी और कई लोकोपकारक व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित रहे |
