CLOSE THE CARE GAP – A Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp at BrahmaKumaris Yog Bhavan, Mumbai, Ghatkopar Sub-zone

World Cancer Day is a global movement observed every year to create awareness about the disease, which can be treated, if diagnosed on time.On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, under the project of “My India – Healthy India”, BrahmaKumaris Yog Bhavan, Mumbai, Ghatkopar Sub-zone

in association with N.K Dhabhar Cancer Foundation conducted a Cancer Awareness session and Breast Cancer Screening Camp at Yog Bhavan, Ghatkopar,

Mumbai on 5th February 2022.

A team of well – equipped technicians conducted the breast cancer screening camp using the non invasive iBreast Exam Tool. Dr. Khurshid Mistry of N.K Dhabhar Cancer Foundation,

A renowned palliative care specialist conducted the cancer awareness talk in which she mainly emphasized on lifestyle management including intake of healthy diet, regular exercising,

reducing stress, having adequate sleep being key in order to prevent any type of cancer. Also, understanding the genesis of the disease (lifestyle related, hereditary, occupational, etc)

will help in early diagnosis and treatment.

Senior Rajyoga Teacher BK Vishnu Behen conducted musical meditation for the participants and motivated them to rise above hurdles, and make Almighty their companion.

Rajyogini BK Nalini Didiji gave her blessings to all present and said no disease can take away the inherent happiness of the soul. She also praised the noble efforts put in by the

Doctor’s for patient care.

The entire team of N.K Dhabhar Cancer foundation was felicitated on this occasion.

The awareness session and the camp was attended by both BK as well as non BK female participants.
